For my final year project, I did an illustration book about Iban Culture but it is more towards an educational book. Since I am a quarter Iban, the purpose of this illustration art book is to expose more on the Iban culture to the audience especially Malaysians so that they are aware of the culture itself since not many Malaysians know about the east Malaysians culture. Iban is the biggest culture in the east and from there, Iban culture could lead and help the other cultures of east Malaysia to gain more exposure. For the illustration book, the size of the book will be 8x8 with perfect binding. The contents of the book will be explaining the Iban culture by their traditions, culture events, traditional food and art.

I chose Iban culture because the culture itself is interesting Iban claims the largest population, thus making this language the most widely used in Sarawak. The Iban, formerly known as Sea Dayaks, are famous for their head-hunting past, their massive ironwood longhouses, their ornate body tattooing, their wonderful weaving skills, and of course their potent rice wine, tuak, which is always offered to visitors. Iban culture is unique in their own way, they have a lot of history which makes it intriguing and astounding.
